Logan Kathleen: 6 months old!

Happy half birthday to our sweet potato!!!

How in the heck do we have a 6-month-old?! It truly doesn't seem real. This was probably the hardest - and best - month of her life so far. For us, anyway... ;) There were so many fun, and not so fun, firsts this month. Lo sat up in the shopping cart for the first time, sat up like a big girl in her stroller, rode in our Ergo 360 carrier facing front - which she absolutely loves, she slept through the night for the first time, aaaaand she also got her first ear infection. Ugh. She was such a trooper through it all, though!

Weight: 14 lbs, 11 oz

Height: 26.75 inches

Size: Size 2 diapers - starting to fit into size 3, wears mostly 6 month clothing, some 6-9 months and 9 months in sleepers... she's so long that she grows out of sleepers quickly!

Nicknames: Lo, LoLo, LoLo-Skee-BoBo, LoSkee, Los, Logos, little Bebeno

Eating: Every 4 hours, still breastfeeding the same amount, but we have started a few solids! So far we've tried sweet potatoes, avocado and bananas. I think she likes avocado the best! A girl after my own heart. :)

Sleeping: She is finallyyyyy sleeping better. After the ear infection we finally took a good turn! I'm writing this almost 2 weeks after she turned 6 months, but she basically sleeps from 8pm-6/7am. YESSSS! FINALLY!

Loves: Sitting up on her own and playing, sitting and playing in her Baby Einstein activity center, banging her hands on anything, throwing toys, playing with her food, screeching at the absolute top of her lungs, the kitties and grabbing their fur - we are working on "nice touches", babbling - she sort of says "mamama" and "dadada" :)

Doesn't love: When we leave the room, getting her diaper changed, when we put clothes on her - oh my gosh it's like the end of the world for her!

Milestones: Sitting up! She is a rockstar at sitting up! The only time she falls is when she tries to go to her tummy from sitting up. She is trying to crawl, but no real movement yet. She moves her legs and pushes up with her arms, but she can't figure out how to do them together. Just take your time, girl. :)

Features: Our poor balding baby. I am also balding along with her, which is SUPER fun! Still has brown eyes and her Snow White skin.

Standing up...to reach the kitty, of course! This pretzel sleeper is truly wonderful... it has MAGNETIC closures!!! Makes for the easiest diaper changes ever.

  

Lo seriously LOVES this Baby Einstein activity center! I think she likes it even more than her jumper now. She's flips the whale around and talks to the octopus. It's the sweetest thing.
