EIGHT months already?! This is pure craziness! In less than 4 months we will have a one-year-old. WHAT?! I can't imagine it.
This has been SUCH a fun month. There is something new happening every day. She is growing up way too quickly, and I have been catching little glimpses of her that make her seem like such a big girl. Here are some updates on her!
Weight: 16 lbs, 6 oz
Height: 27.5 inches
Size: Size 3 diapers, starting to fit size 4 so she wears those at night, wears 9 month and some 6-12 month clothing
Nicknames: LoLo, Los, SkeeBo, Peanut, Missy Pants, Big Girl, Biggest Girl, Booger Butt
Eating: Still nursing 4 times a day, and is such a little piggy with solid food! She will try anything we give her. She loves banana, avocado, sweet potato, pear, mango, apricot, apple, carrot, spinach, peanut butter, salmon (she reallyyyy loves salmon just like her mama), chicken, yogurt…basically we just feed her whatever we're eating. I'm trying to get her used to real food textures instead of just purees. I do love the Plum Organics pouches and Puffs because they're so easy to just throw in the diaper bag. And Lo just sucks those pouches down!
Sleeping: Sleeping great! She usually goes to bed between 7:30 and 8 and sleeps until 7:00 or 7:30, and depending on what time she wakes up, she'll nap around 9:30 or 10 and then again at 2ish.
Loves: Stuffed animals, babies, "big" kids, her walker/activity table, mom's water bottle, remotes, rolling around the house in her walker, all animals, especially our cats and my mom's dog Gabby, FaceTime, anything daddy does, pulling things apart or trying to at least, any toys that are not her own or just new toys, bath time and splashing, nodding her head, clicking her tongue - daddy taught her that one.
Doesn't love: Getting her diaper changed, being told "no"… sounds like a toddler!
Milestones: Crawling! She started crawling about 2 weeks before she turned 8 months. She's pulling herself up on anything and everything. She can walk while holding our hands and tries really hard to stand up on her own, but still needs some help with balance. Umm, slow down, please!!! She started waving to everyone! It is so cute. Sometimes she will wave at the cats, at something she sees on TV, aaaand also at the wall. :)
Features: Her hair is absolutely ridiculous. It is SO long on the sides! And normal length everywhere else. I have to comb it everyday otherwise it is a mess, haha. She got two cute teeth on the bottom! Finally!!! Her eyes are kind of a mystery to me. Mostly brown, but sometimes green-ish/hazel, and around the edges they look blue in certain lights. Crazy!
Fun stuff: I'm working on teaching her some signs. So far all she knows is "more", but that's pretty exciting to me! Also, she has started a fake cough, which is hilarious to me. And she will clear her throat randomly as well. I don't know where she learns these things but it cracks me up!

She has loved this Baby Einstein toy since day 1!
This walker is SO AMAZING! The legs collapse and can be used as a "table" as well. Plus it lights up with different colors when she walks! What could be cooler?

She loves the swing! It's about all we can do at the park, so we do this a lot, haha.

This little chica amazes us every day with her strength, smarts and sassiness. I cannot get enough of her! It's hard to believe that it's only going to get better.
