Stauder Stories: Logan Kathleen: 9 months old!

I cannot seem to keep up on these blog posts! Lo is less than 2 weeks away from turning 10 months, but here I am doing her 9 month update. Whooooooops!

9 months is absolutely my favorite stage so far. Logan is truly SO MUCH FUN! She smiles at anyone and everyone, especially people she knows. And it's always the biggest smile you could imagine!

Weight: 17 lbs, 4 oz (At her 9 month appt, she's over 18 lbs now!)

Height: 27.5 inches

Size: Size 4 diapers, still 9 month and 6-12 month clothing

Nicknames: LoLo, Peanut, Big Girl, Biggest, Biggest Girl, Los, Logo, Stinker

Eating: Still nursing 4 times a day, and is such a little piggy with solid food! She will try anything we give her. She loves banana, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, peppers, squash, zucchini, potatoes, spinach, salmon, chicken, rice, black beans, broccoli, pear, mango, apricot, apple, carrot, cheese, peanut butter, yogurt…basically we just feed her whatever we're eating. I still love the Plum Organics pouches and Puffs because they're so easy to just throw in the diaper bag.

Sleeping: Still sleeping great! She goes to bed at 7:30 and sleeps until 6:45 or 7:00, and depending on what time she wakes up, she'll nap around 9:30 or 10 and then again at 2ish.

Loves: ALLLLL animals, she seriously obsessed, stuffed animals, our kitties, her giant kitty pillow, her stuffed elephants and bears, being in the water, all her grandparents, "babies" and "big kids", any toys that aren't hers, her walker/activity table, rolling around the house in her walker, she's also pretty obsessed with me right now, which I, of course, looooove. She has never been that cuddly until now, and if she's not playing, she is all over me!

Doesn't love: Getting her diaper changed - we are so mean! Not being able to get down... I'm so looking forward to when she can walk and I don't have to worry about her crawling on concrete or whatever ground we happen to be standing on.

Milestones: I'm having a hard time coming up with anything different here! Still not standing on her own (for longer than 2 seconds) and not walking yet... I guess she learned how to climb the stairs! Much to my dismay, hah.

Features: Hair is lightening up juuuuuust a tad, but still very brown. It's just growing and growing, but mostly on the sides! Which is why we do pigtails so often :) Her eyes are still big and beautifully brown. Most people say she's staring to look more like baby Kacey, which makes me so happy!

Fun stuff: Her excited noises are so dang cute - she inhales and squeals at the same time when she sees an animal, she shakes her head no, waves to everyone and everything, babbles all the time, is waaaaay smarter than we give her credit for, and is generally just a super happy, fun and easy baby!
